This game, which is the last of the three PSP games in the SD Gundam G Generation sub-franchise, features content from 35 different Mobile Suit Gundam/Gundam anime series and many original mecha unit designs. I wanted to ask about Gundam games available in NA, or games that at least have English translations available. To narrow it down a little, I primarily play PC games, but I own a PS2 and N3DSXL. I have a couple of Gundam titles on the PS2: Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, Encounters in Space, and Federation VS Zeon. In fact, the only reason a I got a PS2 in the first place was to play these, and Ace Combat. For the most part, I'm a Universal Century-oriented fan, but I'll take what I can get. English Gundam games are pretty slim pickings, but out of those you've played, what have you enjoyed?

PPSSPP seems to have created a cheats folder in the root directory instead of memstick/PSP/Cheats. So I tried that first, nothing. Then I tried making a 'memstick/PSP/Cheats' path location and putting the cheat file in there, but it's still not working. I even tried using the reload cheats function. So, am I doing something wrong.? |

So heres the problem, some the cheats doesn't work with the game, even if that was only a pretty basic cheat (Max Money), but the more complex cheat like (EXP Multiplier) works. Game ID: _S NPJH-50681 _G SD GUNDAM GGENERATION OVER WORLD Heres the code that doesn't work: _C0 CAPITAL 9999999 _L 0x211D0600 0x0098967 While the code under this text, does work: _C0 Unit EXP x512 _L 0x20052024 0x0a200800 _L 0x20052028 0x92b60032 _L 0x20002000 0x3c1708bd _L 0x20002004 0x0a21480b _L 0x20002008 0x00118A40 So my question is: 1. | RE: CwCheat Support I think i remember many pages back on this thread, someone was having problems with that gundam game. Its most likely just a bad cheat. For something basic like money, you can just hook cheat engine onto your game and search for it manually in 2 minutes and change it yourself. |

The hex value 0x0098967 only has 7 hex digits, whereas the standard CwCheat format requires 8. And the numerical value is equivalent to the decimal value 624999, not the value 9,999,999 as claimed in the cheat title. That value should have the hex encoding 0x0098967F, so it seems to me that the value was entered with the correct final digit gone missing.. Anyone creating a cheat code with that kind of typo ruining the data part may also have made a similar (but inherently worse) mistake in the address part. And poking the wrong address will obviously not have the intended effect. It's also possible that the address is correct, but that the PPSSPP cheat engine implementation rejects the cheat as invalid, when it uses the wrong number of digits for the data part. (I'm not sure how the implementation works currently, but if I had coded it then it would reject illegal values.) So I recommend that you try it with the full 8 digit hex value 0x0098967F. I just found out the code from another site AND your answer, which is also correct It supposed to be like this: _L 0x211D0600 0x0098967F instead of this, which is the typo: _L 0x211D0600 0x0098967 even so, i tried it and still no go. The cheat still wont work. But actually thats not the cheat i wanted. I gave the money code because i think that code was simpler than the cheat i wanted. the cheat i wanted is actually this: _L 0x111F885A 0x000001CB It supposed to change the character on the game with some unobtainable character/NPC you might say. and the feedback for this code is people says they manages to get it working while others do not. So im guessing it's because PPSSPP haven't supported it yet. |
| RE: CwCheat Support PPSSPP does support it, but it has been known to change the addresses of the game. Different CFWs also have this problem, and can cause cwcheats to not work unless written specifically for that CFW (or emulator in this case). It is likely that you only need an offset added to the address side of the code in order to get it to work. If you want to put in the work, its not too difficult to find the offset for ppsspp. You can use cheat engine to create a cheat for money, and then find the difference in address between your created cheat and the cheat provided from wherever you got it. Then, apply the offset to your 'character change' cheat. |

See if other people manages to get it working, Since i thought that code was quite 'simple'. What i want to test is actually the char switch code, which can be used to unlock the unobtainable/guest characters from the game (eg: CE 73 Yzak) There are an faster solution for the capital, use jpcs* since that emu works with cheat engine. change the value, save, switch back to PPSSPP. |
